CBBIC -- The Cross-Border Business
Innovation Centre, managed by NORIBIC
and WestBIC, to facilitate cross-border
small business cluster development
in the North West Region [Derry, Donegal,
Tyrone, Leitrim, Fermanagh and Sligo],
have developed this online cluster
facilitation and management tool,
an initiative part funded by the Interreg
IIIA programme, through the generosity
of the North West Regional Cross Border
Group.
The ClusterNet tool, via the creation
of virtual on-line forums across
different business sectors, ensure
equal access and opportunity in
cluster participation regardless
of their location and/or ability
to attend project cluster meetings.
The tool includes:
- An internet-based cluster management
and information system to support
developing clusters in the areas
of ICT, Digital Multi-media, Engineering
and Construction Industry products
- Cluster membership accessed
system
- Tender Development Platform
- Message/Bulletin Board
- Real time discussion Forums
and virtual conferencing facilities
- Document archive availability
- Business-to-Business Opportunities
